Dear Men, Attention Please!๐Ÿ‘”

Hello everyone๐Ÿ™, I hope you all are doing good๐Ÿ˜„

Today, I want to share my thoughts on a very important topic๐Ÿ™‹.. To be straightforward, I must tell you, that today I’m here to share my feelings, infact every Indian girl’s feeling on… something every man should know๐Ÿ’…

We, Indian women are sometimes called as narrow-minded ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿ™† by some extremely broad minded guys ๐Ÿ™‡

But, what actually makes us so?

It’s you.

Let me elaborate…

Social Media๐Ÿ˜‘

Some men ask us whether we are on facebook or instagram. And if we try to just say a polite No. They don’t take it so, rather they make jokes on our narrow mentality๐Ÿ˜…

But, let me tell you who’s mentality is more narrow๐Ÿ˜ฌ..

First of all, they think that they’ll always be satisfied by a ‘Yes’, even if they chat with us (to whom they are completely strangers), or message us at night. I’m a student who has to study at night. Hence, to avoid all distractions, I keep my WiFi off and usually I’m busy in the morning hours for getting ready to school. Therefore, I don’t check my notifications at the morning. And sometimes similar situations arise, but those extremely broad minded guys say, it’s our narrow mentality to answer their super important questions sooo late!

Yet, you are right๐Ÿ‘..we are norrow minded๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜„..

It’s sooo sad to say, but we still live in such a society where some boys are sooooo brave and mighty๐Ÿ’ช, that they have never heard a No in their lives, and what is more disappointing is that, there are still some girls who try to please them or not hurt their extremely sensitive temperament!

Some of thoese special men, who are very powerful and mighty๐Ÿ’ช, but not brave enough to accept a girl’s No, throw acid on them.. But, still they are brave… But, who makes them so?

It’s You!

Some men learn how to speak english, and how to eat pasta, pizza, burger etc. They wear shirts, jeans and highly branded foreign shoes. But if that’s not enough, they even want a girl who’s a foreigner or like her.. Because, for them, foreigners never say No. But sorry to tell you, they SAY IT. Some men say, foreigners are tooo broad minded.. But it’s my question to them, how many foreigners do you actually know?๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿ’

You want to live like foreigners, in a country like foreign, but the idea of LGBT rights make your society dirty!?

Now, you must be thinking why am I overreacting and why am I saying It’s You (even if you don’t do anything such)?๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

It’s because, even if you don’t do anything such, but do you ever try to stop it!? ๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘

You say that you are very shareef (decent) but first of all you very well know your level of decency, and second, just ignoring and doing no wrong, doesn’t makes you better..

You call me narrow minded and yourself as a gentleman. Then I think that you very well know the society we live in๐Ÿ˜ฌ.. And I believe that if you really were some gentleman, then, rather than making fun of my narrow mentality, you should have been proud, that teenagers of YOUR country are now much more aware of what is good for them and what is not.

There are some people on social media with a bio like: Laddu ko bhabhi chahiye, humko sapno ki rani chahiye๐Ÿ’˜ #AwaraMajnu.. (Laddu wants a sister-in-law and I want a queen for my dreams #RoadsideRomeo)๐Ÿ˜„.. I usually delete their friend request, but now I fear he’ll make jokes on me, if not that, he’ll call me a NARROW MINDED PERSON!! Oh God..๐Ÿ˜ฐ

Do you know, why still in 2018 we hear news about small girls getting raped? I didn’t knew before, but now I know.. It’s because some people teach us, that if we don’t tell them our insta or fb username, we’ll become narrow minded and mocked by all, and they’ll be praised and appreciated by all. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

But let me tell you NOT all Indian men are like that… But unfortunately, some extremely broad minded overthinkers are born everywhere.. Please note my word overthinkers..๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I’d soooo much to say, but I won’t coz I fear that those extremely broad minded overthinkers will again make a mess out of it.. But I’m not interested.

Sorry if I hurt you, but actually I’m trying to be less narrow minded and a bit more straightforward.

And remember, it’s not just my thinking. We all think the same, even your mother.๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

Thanks.

  1. Okay, I cane back to this post ’cause I wanna say something: I now officially have experience with this. There was this guy on insta who started following me. I was busy that day, didn’t notice. He dm’d me hi. He replied to one of my stories with a ‘looking so cute’. As I said i was busy. And because I didn’t reply back like in one min, he started texting: arey reply nahi karti ho? Kaisi ladki ho!
Needless to say I blocked him. And this dude’s bio was that sapno ki rani types!

    1. Good job girly๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘.. Yes, we should talk about all these incidents so that we have a safer environment as adults. You’re just 13-14 years old, but still, you’ve to face all this๐Ÿ˜ž.. But I don’t pity you, coz I pity him for having this much less modesty and soo narrow mentality..๐Ÿ˜ค But don’t worry dear. Don’t think about him much, as I’m sure, that his rani will never get out of his sapna.. Lol๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚..But you have a bright future and you have to make your dreams come true..๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ž

This post is too complicated for my narrow mind, forgive the uneducated comment.
Do You believe in higher power i.e. God, ask him/her (I don’t want to left out any group hating me) to prevent something like rape happen, because this matter, again is so complicated, I’m out, I have talked too much ๐Ÿ˜…

      3. See, one movie is its south Indian version, whereas the other is of Bollywood, starring Ajay Devgn. Its plot is interesting, the way he cleverly found the solution for the big trouble, is quite nice..

  3. Thank you for this beautiful expression, Avni. It would be nice to somehow effect the cause/actions of others so they make better, more mature choices just before the moment they make that choice. However, we’ve all been given free will. And sorry to say, many abuse it. It sounds like you’re dealing with many young boys who are too immature to understand what ‘no’ means. That’s a whole other can of worms.

Fortunately for you, Avni, you are living through a time where it is important to speak up and say something, for the World Consciousness grows more and more aware of people abusing the power they have over others. The #MeToo and #TimesUp movements are both powerful movements that challenge humanity to live better lives. The power behind these movements not only speaks to the men in the world, but also speaks to anyone who takes advantage of others for personal gain. Human beings are growing wiser.

I’m afraid, however, everyone is young at one time in their lives and only time and a conscious willingness to become better, a personal choice, will allow young people to move from adolescence to adulthood. Sometimes, adolescence can last a very long time. I’m sorry to say, but I have known 40 year old men who have yet to enter adulthood. While the grey hairs grows on their heads, their actions are more consistent with adolescence. One of my college professors, Jacob Needleman, once shared the words of a wiseman. “We are born human beings, but it takes time for us to become fully human.” This is our personal quest. This is humanity’s quest.

There will always be darkness somewhere in the world and within ourselves, but if everyone realized, lived consciously and spoke up when the voice within us shouted for action, the world could be a better place..

It’s time for everyone to wake up, isn’t it? It’s time for everyone to speak up when something seems off. So speak up.

    Never stop speaking up…

    1. Thank You sooo much๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™.. It was soo inspiring and encouraging… I completely agree with you… Thank you soo much for your support..๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜‡
Yes, I can understand your point.. Even, I too have seen a few people who haven’t matured even in there 40s or 50s.. But, those people are exceptions.. A child or a childish man is much harmless, than an adult with a lot of negative feelings and hatered.. And I want those people to question themselves before doing anything wrong, and I want them to be more aware..
You know, in a classroom, there’re always also some students who don’t pay attention to the class and are left behind in the syllabus.. So, it’s a kind of reminder or notice to those people that they need to change and learn fast, or else they’ll have to pay the consequences as the #timesUp..๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

Please tell your friend that I never wanted to insult him or call a rapist or something bad to his mom. It was for the other people.. If you are an Indian you clearly must be knowing that kind of people present here.. I’m sorry to hurt him.. I know that you must be thinking that I’ve soo much attitude or I’m very bad, but it’s not like that.. And I really didn’t want to shame him nor everything in the post is about him and that’s why I never mentioned his name.. And I don’t want to complicate this misunderstanding and nor insult him anymore and to compensate it I’m ready to delete this post if you/he want..

    2. Hey buddy.. everything she is talking about me… yes I’m that Guy, just coz I asked her whether she is there on Instagram or not…. Now only you can help me to let her understand that I’m not that type of guy.. Now let me tell you the exact matter… i have posted as a thinking post about the Indian blogger where I wanted to clear those points where one Indian blogger should not mistake & should always be straight forward…( post wasn’t specific for anyone, these were just random thoughts about Indian people)
just like shouldn’t like without reading,( we have already talked about it).. instead of lying we should always try to be straight forward with anyone.. ( seriously I didn’t mention about only girls).. also I wanted to add some point about while comments on award but unfortunately I didn’t get time to cover all these points… seriously my intention was different & was talking about blogges rather than any girls.. also I didn’t think about avni .. as she is new on WordPress, again she is a kid also I didn’t ask her that why you’re lying me coz seriously I wasn’t talking about her ( I agree, I took reference of her comment but it was just for to convey that we shouldn’t lie for anything) .. now come to the point about the bloggers about whom I talked .. I can show you their insta account & also their comments when they lied me ( 2 people with comments) .. will seriously tell you out.. I swear I didn’t even think about avni coz I knew she was New.. without knowing anything whether she is there or not (that’s not needed) how can I assume & talk about anyone.. that’s really wrong.. n that’s exactly did avni, as she has taken lots of efforts to show me as a stalker, rapist.. broadminded (who’s more than 5 yrs elder than her) .. I literally got headache while reading this post.. even about my mom.. ( but my mom never taught me to lie).. she has totally misunderstood me without knowing anything about myself..but I kept myself quit just coz she is kid.. but I really respect you my budding teen who can assume anything about the person whom you really don’t know…. I’m sorry if I have ever hurt you…(I’m too much hurt) it was literally not for you.. still you’re thinking like that, that’s not my problem… hey buddy hope you will try to let her understand about my nature…

      1. Ohh, I don’t realize that . That’s wrong to humiliate someone like this . But if you know that you don’t have such kind of intentions , or she misunderstood you . Then leave it . It’s okk , let them think nd assume without knowing the truth . Let it be go nd don’t stress your mind . I will try to tell her that you don’t mean by that post . But calm down nd relax . Everything will be fine soon๐Ÿ‘

      4. Hey.. I’m sorry but this post was not for you… It’s for the entire society.. I’m not that bad to hurt someone that badly, but it was not entirely about you.. I’m really very sorry if you felt so hurt.. But I’m not calling you any rapist.. I know that what you did was not that bad, you just wanted to know my username, right? But isn’t not always that every person thinks like you, you’re elder to me (like a brother) but I think that you very well know about the society.. Like yesterday, a kid literally started asking me my fb id, as he wants to improve his image which he had destroyed and understands that very well..
You have 10 times the followers than me, and are much more better blogger than me, I never expected you to call it narrow mentality.. And if this all is a misunderstanding then let’s end it now.. Because, I never wanted to shame anyone.. But it was not for you, and while living in India, I think you too know about that kind of people…
But I think let’s leave this all as a mis understanding from both the sides (if you want), and I admit my mistake, that my sentence formation were too wrong, but I didn’t want to make you shame if you were right.. I’m really very very sorry.. I should have thought from every angle before publishing it.. I realllyy reallly didn’t wanted to say you a rapist or anything bad for your mom.. That’s why I didn’t mentioned your name because it was not just for you๐Ÿ˜ž..
And if you want, I’m ready to delete this post..

  4. Good for you! This is not limited to your country, though it may be more so. It is world-wide. All men are born entitled, even those who are privileged, even those who are poor. To the few men who are becoming more conscious of this, I say “Bravo!”

In America it is said that women are ‘liberated’. This is not so. You will hear that 2% of government is made up of women, and suddenly women think they are men’s equals when it should be obvious that they are not. Ignorance prevails, not just regarding Truth, but in society in general.

You are enlightened as to this situation and are speaking your piece. Bravo for YOU. May the whole world hear you.

Similarly, at this time, men in my country are improving and geting better, but there are still some dust in the minds of some, which pollutes the clean air and pure thoughts of others too.. This thick layer is present there since the old time and has to be cleaned.. And dust can get anywhere, everywhere, even in the most secured and save guarded environment…
It’s just more difficult to clean that alone, but with all of your support and encouragement I believe that I CAN do it..๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™โค๐Ÿ˜‡

    1. Hmmm.. I too think that many many much more could be added to it, but this is much (as I wrote in the concluding part).. It’s not my answer to those men, it’s my warning that we are now more questionable and need answers from them.. I think women and men of India have changed, and improved.. But there are some students in the class who are distracted and hence left behind in the syllabus, and it’s just a reminder to them… That now the new generation is not more like the earlier one, even 15 year olds know their rights better… And hence they should know that it’s their time to change..๐Ÿ˜„

  6. The failure, to accept that women and girls have dreams and goals in life, is the culprit. It is true everywhere, even in the “Enlightened West”. In my waking up days, I was never prouder of a young woman I somehow fancied, than when she told me off, in a few choice, but decent words. She had grown up, whereas I had some catching up to do. 2. ๐Ÿ˜‚ You’re right.. But it’s different.. Actually, I believe that allllllll this is because of Indian education system.
